Coloring and lettering

First I scan the original linework at 600dpi, convert it to greyscale to 300dpi then with Illustrator I do all the lettering. Sometimes I get a pair of hands here to let me know how the lettering is and if it is perceptible. (I do all directly in CMYK mode).

And this is trick, as I use the same file on Illustrator and Photoshop, this file is automatically updated in Illustrator. So the lettering is already done since the beginning. Yet with some color updates I might change the balloons or even the text.
